01. Arrival at Pyeongtaek Dangjin Port International Passenger
Arrive at the terminal 2-3 hours before departure in consideration of congestion
at the International Passenger Terminal
02. Boarding procedure (2 hours before departure)
Present your passport and advance ticket (in case of advance booking) at the shipping ticket office on the 2nd floor of the international passenger terminal.
- A terminal fee (KRW 1,500) and departure tax (KRW 1,000) will be charged for departing passengers
aged 6 and over.
- Please call the carrier to confirm the boarding cutoff time.
After confirming your room assignment, you will be issued a boarding pass.
03. Tax Refunds
Passengers who wish to receive an in-country tax refund should bring their passport, refund slip, and purchased goods to the customs office for customs declaration. If the refund slip does not contain your passport number, English name, nationality, and payment method, you will not be eligible for an in-country tax refund.
For carry-on
1. After entering the departure gate on the 2nd floor, declare the goods at the customs declaration desk (including inspection*)
2. Insert the refund slip with the customs officer's seal of confirmation into the mailbox.
In the case of drop-shipping
1. Declare the release at the customs office of the drop-off point (T:000-000-0000)and sendthe baggage
to the drop-off point.
2. Stamp the refund slip with the customs release confirmation seal at the customs declaration desk on the 2nd floor when leaving the country and drop it in the mailbox

04. Baggage transfer
The baggage drop-off area is located on the first floor of the International Passenger Terminal,
and you must follow the precautions below when dropping off your baggage.
- If someone asks you to transfer your baggage, please refuse as there is a risk of accidents.
- Please carry your own expensive items such as cameras and jewelry, and fragile items such as ceramics
and glass bottles.
- Label your bag with your name, address, and destination in English in case it gets lost.
- If your checked baggage requires a customs declaration, you must declare it to the Customs Declaration Section in the Departure Waiting Area.
Prohibited items
- Pointed weapons and sharp objects
- Blunt weapons
- Chemicals and flammable substances
- Items prohibited by the Firearms, Swords and Chemicals Control Act
※Items falling under the Control of Firearms, Swords, and Chemicals Act can be transported as checked baggage only
if a possession permit or export license has been obtained.
05. Entering the Departure Hall
At the departure gate on the 2nd floor of the International Passenger Terminal, present your passport
and boarding pass to confirm your identity and enter the departure gate.
06. Security Check
All passengers boarding the ship must undergo security checks.
Please cooperate actively to ensure the safety of passengers and the ship.
07. Immigration
After immigration (manned or automatic immigration), enter the duty-free area.
Please check with the Ministry of Justice's Immigration and
Foreigners Pyeongtaek Port Immigration Office for the availability of automated immigration control.
08. Departure and boarding the ship
Use the escalator in the departure hall (2nd floor → 1st floor) to move to the shuttle bus boarding area
and follow the instructions to move to and board the ship using the shuttle bus in the port.
